Ani Ayvazian was born and raised in an Armenian family in Tehran-Iran where she completed her elementary and high-school education. 

In 2000 she was accepted in the piano department of Yerevan State Conservatory (YSC) in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia, where she studied with Professor Alexander Goorgenov. Ani received her Master’s degree with Honors in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from YSC in June 2005. She also had been teaching piano in the Preparatory division of YSC as an assistant of Professor Nora Ambakoomian. From 2003 to 2005 she was the representative of Armenian Diaspora Students of YSC.

In 2006 she started her studies at Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University where she studied with Mr. Brain Ganz (who himself is a Peabody Graduate and studied under Leon Fleisher). Ani graduated from Peabody in May 2008 with Graduate Performance Diploma in Piano Performance.

Ani has played several performances as a soloist, accompanist and chamber musician in Armenia, Iran and United States. Her benefit concerts include: Performances in Armenian Society of Los Angeles (ASLA)(2009-2010), Performances at Hillcrest Christian School (December 2008, December 2009), performances in the First German Methodist Church (July 2007and 2008 Glendale, CA), Recital in the Heritage Harbour Community Center (April 2007 Annapolis, MD), Concert for Women’s Association in Armenian Club (August 2006 Tehran, Iran), Concert for Society to Support Children Suffering from Cancer (February 2005 Tehran, Iran.  She organized and performed in 2 major concerts dedicated to the 90th and 91st anniversary of Armenian Genocide (2005 and 2006 Tehran-Iran).

Currently Ms. Ayvazian is dedicating most of her time to her students and trying to convey all the knowledge she has learned from the great musicians that she had worked with. She is teaching the correct path to children who wish to learn music.

Ani is a recipient of the Armenian General Benevolent Union scholarship grant (2006-7and 2007-8), the Armenian Students’ Association of America scholarship grant (2007-8) and the Armenian International Women’s Association scholarship (2007-8).
